Preliminary Reports
Once the Supervisor approves the student’s thesis for examination, all members of the Exam Committee (Chair, Intern Examiner and Extern Examiner(s)) receive notification by email.
- All Examiner tasks will completed within eThesis - My Exam Committee Tasks.
- After reviewing the thesis all Examiners must submit their Preliminary Report.
- This online report form has a has a limit of 3500 characters per section and has a save draft facility (all mandatory sections must be completed for the draft to save)
- Where a viva is required The viva voce examination will normally be held within 2 months of receipt of the thesis by the Examiners”. Please see “how do arrange my viva?”
