We are delighted to open registration for the 43rd annual conference of the Irish Association for Russian, Central and East European Studies, held at University College Dublin on 7-8 May 2020.
This conference is organised by the Irish Association for Russian, Central and East European Studies, with the support of the UCD School of History and the UCD College of Arts and Humanities.
Exploring the theme 'Environment, territory, mobility', the conference draws together an international selection of scholars working on a variety of topics broadly associated with human-nature relationships; mobilities and migrations; and territorial identity, organisation and (re)constitution right across Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Eurasia. The papers cover a range of disciplinary perspectives, and are attentive to imperial and national contexts, alongside comparative, regional and transnational scales.
