WP 6: Dissemination - Communication

Concluding our project, WP Dissemination and Communication focuses on sharing the fruits of our collective efforts far and wide. This phase is all about elevating the visibility of our Open Education Resource on Responsible Use of Research Metrics, fostering a nationwide conversation on the importance of ethical research evaluation. Join us in spreading the word and shaping a more transparent, inclusive, and impactful research culture in Ireland.

Empowering Irish Research:

Co-Designing Training on the Responsible Use of Research Metrics

23-24 / May / 2024 

We are excited to announce our participation in the RESSH 2024 conference in Galway, where we presented our latest work on “Empowering Irish Research: Co-Designing Training on the Responsible Use of Research Metrics.” This project is a collaborative effort aimed at raising awareness and fostering responsible research assessment practices within the Irish research ecosystem.

WP 1 Review and Reuse
Research and review existing training material that can be reused.
WP 2 Co-design Workshops
Focus groups are conducted to co-design the training and delivery mechanisms for the RURM module.
WP 3 Test
Each partner will recruit a diverse group of participants to test the training module online.
WP 4 Post-test Interviews
Follow-up interviews with the participants to evaluate the module and give feedback for review.
WP 5 Refine
Regularly evaluate the completed training module. The material will be professionally tested for accessibility.
WP 6 Dissemination - Communication
Dissemination of the module: The completed OER training module will be shared externally.
